Announcement:  The Office of Post Secondary Education: Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI) Program has released a call for proposals.  The grant opportunity is available on Grants.gov (http://www.grants.gov/view-opportunity.html?oppId=253615). AHSIE Holds Fifth Annual Best Practices Conference at New Jersey City University JERSEY CITY, NJ – The Alliance of Hispanic Serving Institutions Educators (AHSIE) held its fifth Best Practices Conference March 11-13 at New Jersey City University in Jersey City. Hosted by NJCU’s Office of Grants and Sponsored Programs, the event drew more than 200 attendees from across the United States who work for colleges and universities that are classified as Hispanic Serving Institutions. Approximately 300 institutions in the U.S. qualify as HSIs, meaning they have a full-time undergraduate population of at least 25%.
